On Monday, October 6th, at 12:15 pm in room 120, the Honorable Tim Corrigan from the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and his former clerk, Jeff Perconte from the United States Attorney’s office for the Northern District of Illinois, will give a presentation and answer questions about THE VALUE OF A JUDICIAL CLERKSHIP. This is a unique opportunity to learn about clerkships from the perspective of both a judge and a clerk.
Judge Corrigan attended Notre Dame as an undergrad and is a graduate of Duke Law School. He worked in private practice and served as a U.S. magistrate judge before being appointed to the District Court. Jeff Perconte is a double domer, graduating in ‘00 from ND and ‘03 from NDLS. After clerking for Judge Corrigan, he worked as an associate at Winston and Strawn before going to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
