The Notre Dame Law Association (NDLA) Board of Directors will hold its Spring 2011 meeting on Friday, April 8th. The board represents more than 8,000 Notre Dame Lawyers throughout the world and includes 16 regional and one at-large representative covering 18 regions of the country. Membership includes a president, president-elect, and three Alumni Association affinity group representatives, serving on behalf of Asian-Pacific alumni, Black alumni, and Hispanic alumni. Past-presidents serve as executive advisory board members.

The NDLA Board advises the Dean in matters regarding students, curriculum, finances, programs, facilities, resources, capabilities, strategic planning, management, and Law School operations as requested. Board members also generously donate their time and talents to the Notre Dame Law School by assisting the Admissions Office in the recruitment of qualified students; mentoring, advising and promoting students and graduates of the Law School in their efforts to secure employment, and planning or sponsoring events.

Board members do not receive compensation for their services and pay for their own transportation, lodging, and incidentals related to board meeting attendance.
