This week is the beginning of the last 100 days of the 3Ls law school experience. It’s been 2.65 years of life changing experiences. I was going to create list of ways to survive the last 100 days of classes, but wikihow was already there. I can’t top things like play with your mini skateboard (tech deck)…so I figured I just share the list with you. Have fun.

Valentine’s Day Grams! BLSA is selling Valentine’s Day grams this Thursday and Friday in the Commons. Proceeds go to charity and grams will be delivered to basement mailboxes on Feb. 14th.
Pint Glasses are in the SBA Store: Right before the holidays the SBA stocked these awesome pint-glasses, but we sold out in record time. Well, I have GOOD NEWS: They are BACK IN STOCK NOW in the SBA Store. Get one (or two) before they sell out again!
12:30 pm: LVCY Meeting. Legal Voices for Children and Youth will have a meeting on Monday to discuss this semester’s activities. In addition to discussing a potential special speaker and other ideas we will be going over our spring fundraiser, “Professor Pie Smash”. We will need volunteers to help run a table in the Commons as well as assist at the event itself.
12:30 pm: ACLU General Meeting. Come join us for the first ACLU meeting of the spring semester in which upcoming events will be discussed.

9 am: The Ku Klux Klan and the Separation of Church and State. STMS hosts Professor Philip Hamburger, noted religion and law scholar at Columbia Law School, for a talk on the historical role that the Ku Klux Klan and anti-Catholicism played in the 20th century, as well as its legal impact and its role in the separation of church and state. All are welcome!

12:30 pm: Taft Presents: 1L Tips for Success. Lisa Watson, Chief Recruiting and Development Officer and Ralph Caruso (JD ’94), Hiring Partner from Taft in Indianapolis, will be on campus to discuss the application process, interview skills and ways to make your summer a success.
3Ls: 100 Days Begins
12:30 pm: Careers with Catholic Charities. Candy Hill, who serves as Executive Vice President for Social Policy and External Affairs at Catholic Charities USA, will be discussing her experience as a lawyer for Catholic Charities as well as summer opportunities available with Catholic Charities in Washington, DC.
4 pm: Clarence Thomas and the Jurisprudence of Constitutional Restoration. The Federalist Society and The Potenziani Program on Constitutional Studies are pleased to host Dr. Ralph Rossum of Claremont McKenna College for a discussion on his recent book examining the jurisprudence of Justice Clarence Thomas. Commentary for the event will be provided by Professor Don Drakeman of Princeton University. A book signing will follow the event.
