Maureen Power Wilkerson ‘76 J.D.

Maureen Wilkerson ‘76 J.D. has received an award from the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, recognizing over ten years of pro bono work as a solo practitioner in immigration services specializing in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status Cases.

In one recent case, Wilkerson successfully represented a young woman from Honduras and her 12-year-old son, obtaining orders for sole custody and factual findings pursuant to Maryland law after her third Motion for Alternate Service by Posting was granted.
