Jill Vorobiev, ’96 J.D.

Reed Smith LLP announces the addition of Jill Vorobiev as a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group in Chicago. Vorobiev was formerly a partner at Shepard Mullin. Vorobiev has extensive and significant experience representing clients with a wide array of employment matters, including trade secret misappropriations, non-compete cases, and with a variety of federal regulations. She has advised companies on issues involving the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the False Claims Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the National Labor Relations Act, as well as various state and local discrimination and employment laws. She also regularly counsels employers on restrictive covenant agreements, and labor contracts and retiree benefits issues.
