In Memoriam: Michael K. Kelley, ‘84 J.D.

It is with sadness that the law school announces the passing of Michael “Mike” Kelley on October 11, 2020 in Portland, Oregon after a heroic 22-month battle with advanced cancer. Kelley started his career at Lindsay Hart and then left there in 1988 to help found a law firm that eventually would bear his name, Haglund Kelley LLP. During more than three decades, Mike was an outstanding trial lawyer who was repeatedly recognized as one of Oregon's Super Lawyers. Kelley is survived by his wife and four children.
