It is with a heavy heart that the law school announces the passing of Jack McCormick on February 28, 2025 in Brewster, Massachusetts. While at Notre Dame Law School, McCormick spent his second year studying abroad at the Notre Dame London Law Center. While in London, he was selected for the Great Britain Korfball team that competed internationally. In his final year of law school, he was selected for the Notre Dame team that appeared on the Wheel of Fortune. McCormick began his law career at LaTanzi, Spaulding, & Landreth, where he ultimately became a partner and later opened his own law practice in 1997. In 1998 McCormick was joined by his wife Teri to form McCormick & McCormick. He devoted a significant amount of his practice to participating in CPCS’s Bar Advocate Program serving those in need.
