Gallivan Gerald Obituary

It is with great sadness that the law school announces the passing of Gerald Gallivan on September 5, 2019 in Oklahoma City. Upon his graduation from Notre Dame Law School Gallivan clerked for Federal Judge James C. Connell in Cleveland, Ohio. Gallivan worked later as a county prosecutor and public defender. Gallivan then became a professor at the University of Wyoming and Director of the Defender Aid Program. During Gallivan’s tenure, he supervised students who represented over 240 indigent defendants in appeals before the Wyoming Supreme Court.
