In Memoriam: Charles Walter Roemer, ’53 BA, ’58 J.D.

The law school sadly announces the passing of Charles “Chuck” Roemer who died on August 14, 2017 in South Bend. Upon graduation from Notre Dame Law School, Chuck practiced with his brother Tom and later his brother Jim before he partnered with Dick Mintz to form Roemer & Mintz in 1977. Chuck focused his practice on estate planning. In 2001 Roemer & Mintz merged with Barnes and Thornburg and Chuck retired as a partner in 2004.
