In Memoriam: Brian J. Murray '97, '00 J.D.
Brian J. Murray '97, '00 J.D. passed away of natural causes on September 23, 2020, at his home outside Chicago.
He was the Hoynes Award recipient for the Law School's Class of 2000. He went on to have a distinguished legal career with achievements that include clerking for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, serving as a partner at Jones Day, and receiving numerous awards and recognitions for his legal skill and service. At the time of his death, he was an attorney with Rathje Woodward in Wheaton, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, their four children, and many more loving family members.
