Heather McShain '96, '99 J.D.

Heather McShain '96, '99 J.D. was selected to serve as a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

McShain, also an adjunct professor at Notre Dame Law School, will fill the vacancy created by Magistrate Judge Sidney Schenkier retires on April 30, according to a release from the court.

She has been an assistant United States attorney assigned to the Criminal Division in the Northern District of Illinois since 2010.
