We recently posted our Employment data for the Class of 2015, and employment rates for NDLS graduates remain strong. Over 81 percent of our 2015 graduates secured long-term, full-time employment requiring bar passage or for which a JD is considered an advantage. The positions they obtained spanned a wide variety of fields: 58 percent in law firms, 16 percent in government, 14 percent in judicial clerkships, 5 percent in business and industry, 5 percent in public interest, and 1 percent in education.
The data for our most recent graduating class also continue to reflect the truly national character of Notre Dame Law School. Graduates in the Class of 2015 were employed in 32 states plus the District of Columbia, and the three largest employment markets were Chicago, New York City, and Washington, D.C. You can find detailed employment data for NDLS graduates in the Classes of 2013-2015 on our website.
