Cordell Carter, II, ’07 J.D.

Cordell Carter has been named CEO of TechTown Global, the network of youth-focused technology and entrepreneurial learning centers. Carter was former chief of staff and director of operations for U.S. programs at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Carter will oversee efforts to grow the centers nationwide. TechTown’s first location, its headquarters, will open in the summer of 2015 in the Chattanooga Lifestyle Center. Carter brings leadership experience in both technology and education.
