Patrick Salvi Jr

Patrick A. Salvi II ’07 J.D., managing partner of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard’s Chicago office, has been selected as the 2022 Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” for the category Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs in the Chicago area.

Only one lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year.” These lawyers are selected based on impressive voting averages received during the peer review assessments. The designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity.

He was also listed in the 2022 edition of Best Lawyers for the category Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.

Salvi concentrates his legal practice on cases concerning personal injury, medical malpractice, mass torts, and product liability. He has obtained many record-breaking jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, including a $148 million jury verdict for a paralyzed 24-year-old woman who was paralyzed at O’Hare International Airport. The verdict is the largest compensatory verdict for an individual plaintiff in Illinois history.

Outside the firm, Salvi is a member of the American Association for Justice, where he sits on the Board of Governors and the AAJ PAC Board of Trustees. He is also an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association’s executive committee, and is a board member of Legal Aid Chicago, an organization that provides free legal services to people living in poverty.

Eight of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard’s attorneys were honored in the 2022 Best Lawyers, including Patrick A. Salvi ’78 J.D., the firm’s managing equity partner and chairman.
