Civic Illiteracy and the Rule of Law

-

Location: 1130 Eck Hall of Law (View on map.nd.edu)

Judge Don Willett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit will give a lecture on the state of civic education in the United States.

Judge Willett is a former rodeo bull rider and was hailed as the “Tweeter Laureate of Texas” during his tenure on the Texas Supreme Court (see generally @JusticeWillett). We are really looking forward to hosting him. If you want to hear how Tiger King, Judge Judy, an adorable dog named Amicus Harlan Willett, and the meme below relate to civic education, I strongly recommend attending this talk. Judge Willett promises he will tie it all together for us.
