Join us for a conversation with attorneys Daniel Vázquez and Luis Ponce, both co-founders of Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora (BUDPR).

This panel is part of Puerto Rican Week 2021, organized by the Puerto Rican Student Association. Other events include "Climate Change and Energy in Puerto Rico" on Monday, April 26 and "Gender Violence and Discrimination in Puerto Rico" on Thursday, April 29.

About the panelists:

Luis Ponce And Daniel Vazquez

Daniel Vázquez (pictured on the left) is a co-founder of BUDPR and an international law attorney in Washington, D.C. His areas of expertise are transnational investments, rule of law, human rights, and conflict resolution, including litigation in U.S. and foreign courts, with a focus on Latin America and Europe. 

Luis Ponce (pictured on the right) is a co-founder of BUDPR and SEUI Local 105's strategic campaign and research director and a 2016 Latino Leadership Institute Fellow. A graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, he also holds a J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico.
