After spending more than 27 years in prison, exoneree Donald Whalen will speak about his wrongful conviction for murder. Whalen's release on bond comes 27 years after he was convicted of stabbing his own father. His lawyers successfully argued that evidence discovered since his first trial could have helped clear him of the charges, if the jury had heard the information. That new evidence included DNA tests on evidence collected at the crime scene that excludes Donald Whalen as one of the sources. Whalen's post-conviction attorney, Elliot Slosar, will join him to talk about the legal side of the fight for Donald Whalen's innocence.
