Medical Legal Partnerships: HealthLinc and Indiana Legal Services,

Emma Douglas is a staff attorney with Indiana Legal Services and is responsible for implementing and running a Medical Legal Partnership (MLP) with the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), HealthLinc. Douglas will present on the structure of a MLP, the advantages of co-locating services for indigent clients, and what it’s like to work for a legal aid organization. This event is open to the law school, aimed at students interested in health law, poverty law, and public interest careers in general.
