Tribal Justice: Ethical and Jurisdictional Considerations

The Notre Dame Law School Clinical Law Center will host a screening of the documentary “Tribal Justice,” followed by a panel discussion. This film depicts two Native American judges who model restorative justice techniques by reaching back to traditional concepts of addressing the root causes of crime in order to reduce incarceration rates, foster greater safety for their communities and create a more positive future for youth.

The panel discussion following the screening will be facilitated by Professor Michael Jenuwine.

The screening and panel discussion have been approved by the Indiana Supreme Court for 1.0 hours of ethics CLE.
