click to open pdf Professor G. Robert Blakey will deliver the keynote address at the 2014 Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy symposium on White Collar Crime March 20.

His address will take place from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Patrick F. McCartan Courtroom, and a reception will follow in the Eck Hall atrium .

Professor Blakey is the William J. and Dorothy K. O’Neill Chair in Law Emeritus at Notre Dame Law School and the nation’s foremost authority on the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act.

Symposium panelists will include Dr. Cynthia Koller, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Shippensburg University; Dr. Gerald Cliff, Research Director at the National White Collar Crime Center; John Gallo, a partner at Sidley Austin LLP and an NDLS adjunct professor; and NDLS Professor Stephen Smith. NDLS Professor Jimmy Gurule will moderate the program.

The Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy publishes two issues annually directed at an audience comprised of scholars, practitioners, and the general public. On March 19 three students from JLEPP presented their papers on white collar crime. The papers, by Leslie Dickinson, Christina Sindoni, and Kristie Xian, will be published in the Journal’s symposium issue later this spring.
