Leslie D'Arcy Callahan

Leslie D. Callahan earned her bachelor of arts in political science, cum laude, from Bryn Mawr College in 1983. She earned her juris doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1986, where she served as a board member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. After graduating from Harvard Law School, she clerked for Judge Orinda D. Evans of the U.S. District Court in Atlanta. Following her clerkship, she was a commercial litigator, primarily with Morrison & Foerster in New York. Relocating to the Midwest, she was general counsel to the University of Kansas research foundation and, here in South Bend, practiced with Baker & Daniels. She joined the Legal Writing program at Notre Dame Law School in the fall of 2005. Callahan has served as a board member and officer for the Stanley Clark School and for the South Bend Museum of Art. She also serves on the IB Steering Committee at John Adams High School and has supported local club and high school soccer programs.
