Brandy Ellis earned a B.A. from Antioch College in 2002 and a J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 2009. While in law school, she interned for Hon. Ronald L. Ellis, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of New York. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, she spent five years as an Associate in the New York City office of Cooley LLP and a year and a half as an Associate in the Seattle office of Fenwick & West LLP. Ellis specialized in corporate and securities law with an emphasis on representing emerging growth companies. She received her MLIS from the University of Washington in 2018.
