Career Support

Notre Dame Law School's Career Development Office helps students identify and obtain positions that are meaningful and rewarding.

Lawyers, like most professionals, will likely change jobs many times during their careers. The CDO's goal is to provide students with the tools necessary to obtain their first jobs after graduation and the skills necessary to navigate the legal market throughout their careers. In addition to facilitating on- and off-campus interviews with employers, the CDO provides a full slate of services that includes resume reviews, mock interviews, assistance in contacting the vast Notre Dame Lawyer network, and educational programming.

At Notre Dame Law School, the CDO is designed to give students the tools they need to take control of their career paths. The CDO staff will be with you during your time in law school and will stay with you throughout your professional life.

The office is staffed with experienced lawyers who are knowledgeable about legal markets across the United States as well as specialty areas such as public interest law and clerkships.

The CDO provides frequent informational and educational programs on a variety of job search and career-related topics. Programs are generally during the lunch hour with food provided.
