Lorelie Masters, ’81 J.D., Featured in 2015 Super Lawyers Magazine

Lorelie Masters was featured on the cover of 2015 Super Lawyers of Washington, D.C., in an article titled “Masters of the Insurance Universe.” Masters, a partner at Perkins Coie, is known as an expert in the field of insurance litigation, an area that she has practiced in since the mid- 1980s. In addition to the hours devoted to her successful practice, Masters spends after hours in her role as a social activist: advocating for pay equity for women, human-trafficking laws, voting rights and other issues. This past year Masters declared her candidacy to become the first elected attorney general in the District simply because “the race … needed to include women’s voices.”
