Professor Barrett Named to Advisory Committee on Rules of Appellate Procedure

Chief Justice John G. Roberts has nominated Professor Amy Coney Barrett to the Advisory Committee on Rules of Appellate Procedure. The Committee, which consists of a small group of judges, law professors, and practicing lawyers, studies the operation and effect of the rules of practice and procedure applicable in the federal appellate courts. Professor Barrett has been appointed to a three year term.
