Prof. Mayer Speaks at ARNOVA and Federalist Society Meetings

Associate Professor Lloyd Hitoshi Mayer is speaking at the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) annual conference in Alexandria, Virginia, November 18 and 20.

On Thursday he speaks on “The 990 Form: Integrating the Form into Nonprofit Education” and “The IRS and the Academic Institutions Initiative.” On Saturday Nov. 20 he gives a presentation on “Nonprofit Accountability in the NGO Context: Comparative Perspectives.”

ARNOVA’s 39th Annual Conference is focused on the theme “Governments & the Voluntary Sector: Redefining the Relationships?” It is the largest and most significant research conference focusing on nonprofits, philanthropy, voluntary action and civil society to be held on an annual basis.

Meanwhile, Professor Mayer is also speaking at the Federalist Society’s National Lawyer’s Convention in Washington, DC, on Friday November 19 on a panel discussion of ““Free Speech: Anonymity and the First Amendment.”
