Daniel Fitzgerald, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale LLP, is named to 2015 Best Lawyers in America in the area of patent law. Fitzgerald practices in the St. Louis office.
Casey Ryan has been named as the Global Head of Legal Personnel of Reed Smith LLP’s Senior Management Team and will assume this position on March 1, 2015. Ryan is a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office and a member of the Labor & Employment practice group. Casey is currently the Vice Chair of the Litigation Department.
The publicly reported settlement ranks as one of the largest reported settlements involving trade secret misappropriation in the nation. David J. Butler had been named managing partner of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in its Columbus, Ohio office, becoming one of its youngest leaders at age 42. Butler, a litigator, joined Chester Willcox & Saxbe in 1997 and served on its executive committee and as chair of the litigation practice. In 2012, Chester Willcox & Saxbe merged with Taft. Jamie Billotte Moses, has been appointed by The Florida Bar Board of Governors to serve on the Florida Realtor-Attorney Joint Committee. Moses focuses her practice on professional malpractice litigation, including a wide range of legal matters involving real estate brokers and salespersons, appraisers and title companies. She is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Appellate Practice and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.
Bradley J. Wiskirchen has been named Chairman of the Salt Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco Board of Directors for 2014. Mr. Wiskirchen is currently Chief Executive Officer of Keynetics Inc. and its subsidiary Kount Inc. and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Click Sales Inc. dba ClickBank, in Boise, Idaho.

Brian P. Lennon has been named partner at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP. His whose practice focuses on criminal defense, particularly health care fraud and other white collar and drug offenses, corporate internal investigations and compliance matters. Lennon also serves as chair of the firm’s Higher Education Practice Group and is a member of the board of trustees of the Michigan Colleges Foundation. Before joining the firm, he served as a federal prosecutor in Michigan and Virginia for 15 years, as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Division, and as a judge advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Grand Rapids Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.

The U.S. Senate has voted 70-29 to confirm Elizabeth A. Wolford to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
Martin E. Seifert, Fort Wayne, was elected to the board of governors of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) at its annual meeting in French Lick on Friday, Oct. 18. He will serve a two-year term, representing one of 13 districts in the state.
