Dallas attorney, Daniel P. Novakov, ’72 BA, ’76 J.D., a Greenberg Traurig shareholder, is named chairman of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association in the first season of the new college football playoff system. Dale Recinella devotes his life to practicing as “a different kind of lawyer”. Dale is a lay minister who serves on behalf of the Catholic bishops of Florida as Catholic Correctional Chaplain to Florida’s Death Row and Solitary Confinement population. Recinella also serves as a lay minister to the families of executed prisoners and murder victims. The law school is sad to announce the death of Stan Cardenas who passed away on April 20, 2014 in San Francisco. Stan was a dedicated alumnus of Notre Dame who served as a Member of the Hesburgh Libraries Advisory Council since 1989. Stan was devoted to helping maintain state of the art library resources on the campus of Notre Dame.
