Recovery Resources has named Raymond J. Marvar as the recipient of this year’s Recovery Resources’ Community Challenge Exemplar Award. The Exemplar Award recognizes community members’ service to the mission of drug and alcohol prevention services in high school. Mr. Marvar is Counsel at Tucker Ellis & West LLP and serves as General Counsel for Premier Physicians Center.

Chambers USA has named Katheryne L. Zelenock, ’91 J.D., as a “Leader in their Field.” Katheryne was recognized for her experience handling large-scale commercial mortgage loans, as well as the restructuring and workout of financial arrangements. Katheryne is a member of Dickinson Wright PLLC.
Robert M. Greene, J.D. ’69, has received the Root/Stimson Award in recognition of his extensive community service to Buffalo, New York and Haiti. Robert is a partner at Philips Lytle LLP.
Bernard M. Jones II, J.D. ’04, has been appointed as a member of the Board on Legislative Compensation for the State of Oklahoma. Bernard is currently Associate Dean for Admissions and External Affairs at Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Robert C. Weaver, an attorney at Garvey Schubert Barer, has been named a 2011 Oregon Super Lawyer. Robert focuses his practice on Criminal Defense: White Collar.
Andrew Murphy has joined the law firm of Maslon Delman Borman & Brand, LLP. Murphy focuses his practice in the areas of general commercial and employment litigation. He has also served as an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame, teaching fundamental litigation skills.
Patrick Kilbane, an attorney in GrayRobinson’s Jacksonville office, was recently recognized as Florida Trend’s Legal Elite. This distinction honors attorneys in the state of Florida who have been voted by their peers as being the state’s legal readers.

John F. Crowley will return full-time as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Amicus Therapeutics following his completion of temporary active duty with the University States Navy Reserve. Mr. Crowley previously let the Company as President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2005 through February 2010, and as Chairman and CEO until April 2011.
The Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey presented the Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. Award to Thomas R. Curtin at its annual dinner June 21. The award is given to an outstanding lawyer whose contributions to the law are recognized by the Association as deserving of special and unique recognition as befits the name of Justice Brennan, in whose name the award is given.

Michael Hays and wife, Jenni, announce the arrival of their son, Tobin Li. Toby was born July 27, 2009 in Yunnan Province, China and came home to Elkhart, Indiana in June 2011.
