Dwight D. Smith has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Alliance Healthcare Foundation. Smith serves as Executive VP, General Counsel for The Neighborhood House Association.
Margaret A. Czuchaj recently joined Plunkett Cooney as a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. A member of the firm’s Bloomfield Hills office, Czuchaj focuses her practice in the areas of premises liability, retail liability, and motor vehicle no-fault disputes.
John Gaal of Syracuse is the new chair of the 2,360-member Labor and Employment Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Gaal is a member of Bond, Schoeneck & King. He practices labor and employment law on behalf of management, with an emphasis on higher education, construction and health care.
James Mall has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list for 2012. Mall is chair of the Construction Practice Group at the Pittsburg law firm of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott. Mall focuses his practice in construction and commercial litigation, land use, and zoning.

The award is presented by Illinois’ State Appellate Defender Board of Commissioners. Weiler is an Assistant Appellate Defender for the Illinois Office of the State Appellate Defender.
