Notre Dame Law School honored graduating students today at the Morris Inn Ballroom during the second annual “Prize Day.” Students won awards for academic performance and service to the Notre Dame and greater community.

Notre Dame Law Students have selected Amy Coney Barrett, Diane and M.O. Miller, II Research Chair in Law, for the 2016 Law School Distinguished Teaching Award. Barrett will address the graduates at Notre Dame Law School’s 2016 Commencement ceremony Saturday.
Randy Kozel has been granted tenure as a professor of law at Notre Dame Law School. Kozel joined the law school faculty in 2011 and teaches and researches in the fields of constitutional law, federal courts, and contract law, with a particular focus on the role of precedent in legal decision-making.
The Notre Dame Law Association recently recognized Saint Mary’s College President Carol Mooney, ’77 J.D., with The Rev. Michael D. McCafferty Award. Dean Nell Newton and NDLA board member, Philip Faccenda, presented the award at a dinner following the NDLA spring meeting.
