A New face in Access Services: Holly Klejeski

Holly Klejeski Stop by the Circulation Desk to give Holly Klejeski a warm NDLS welcome. Her position is Access Services Library Specialist for evenings & weekends. Holly started in the Access Services department on Monday, August 29th.

Holly graduated, cum laude, from Notre Dame in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. As an undergraduate, Holly worked in the Art Image Library from August 2009 to May 2011 and used her art background and strong computer skills to assist with the acquisition and digitization of images for use in classrooms and research. She also provided assistance to students and faculty with locating images, researching images and information.

Holly also worked as a Reference desk assistant at the Hesburgh Library from August 2008 to May 2010. Working independently and in consultation with reference librarian, Holly answered student and faculty reference questions and instructed students on the use of library systems, including catalog searches and interlibrary loan.

In addition, Holly served as Communications Coordinator, NDVotes Campaign in the Center for Social Concerns updating and administering databases, re-organizing the data management system to increase efficiency and was responsible for communicating state absentee voter laws and deadlines to students from all 50 states.

In her spare time, she enjoys photography, cooking and knitting.
