An NDLS American Association of Justice (AAJ) Trial Team was victorious at the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Regional Competition held in Louisville, Ky., March 1-4.

The team will now go on to compete in the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy National Competition held in Las Vegas and sponsored by the American Association for Justice.

The final round pitted one NDLS AAJ Trial Team against another and resulted in a 2-1 split decision. Thus, both the Regional Champion and the Regional Runner-up are NDLS 2L teams.

During the competition, NDLS Teams beat teams from the University of Oklahoma, Northern Kentucky University, Charlotte School of Law, Indiana University, and the University of Tulsa. Other schools at the competition were: Duke University, the University of Tennessee, Valparaiso University, Oklahoma City University, and Loyola University (New Orleans).
