Business Roundtable Names Cordell Carter, J.D. ’07, Director of Public Policy

Cordell Carter, J.D. ’07, has joined the Business Roundtable as Director of Public Policy leading the association’s Education, Innovation and Workforce initiative.

He was a 2006 recipient of the Notre Dame Law School Client Competition for Excellence in Lawyering Process and was profiled for the NDLS alumni spotlight in 2009.

Mr. Carter previously served as the Director of the School Support Services Division, Director of Business Systems and Special Assistant to the Chief Financial Operations Officer for Seattle Public Schools. Prior to joining Seattle Public Schools, he served as Visiting Attorney for Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) Bankengruppe’s Office of Legal and Executive Strategy in Frankfurt, Germany, and previously served as a Strategy Consultant for IBM Business Consulting Services – Public Sector.
