Professor Richard Garnett addresses separation of church and state
Professor Richard Garnett will be delivering a public lecture at the University of Virginia February 4 on the topic of separation of church and state.
His talk, set for 5:30 p.m. in the university’s Minor Hall Auditorium, is entitled “Positive Secularism: Understanding the Separation of Church and State,” and will develop the idea of “positive secularism” as a lens for viewing the customary separation of church and state in the United States.
