International Moot Court Team advances to D.C. rounds

The NDLS international moot court team competed in the Jessup Regional Competition in Chicago February 12. Notre Dame was ably represented by Anthony Giresi, Anna Mackin, Manasi Raveendran, Vanessa Barmack and James Emmanuel. Based on the team’s scores, it should have advanced into the next rounds. Unfortunately the scores were incorrectly added, and the further rounds proceeded without them. Once the error was discovered, the NDLS team was invited to participate in the international rounds to be held in Washington, D.C., in March.

Anthony Giresi was named the third best oralist in the competition and Manasi Raveendran was awarded fifth place.
