Printing to Pharos from Your Windows Vista

In order to print from your laptop to the main lab printers, you must have installed the LaserJet 8150 printer driver on your computer. The following procedure provides the method to configure your computer and install the driver. After you have finished, you can print from any campus ResNet jack or Nomad wireless connection. Printing in the Law School is limited to currently enrolled Law students. Non-Law students will be charged.

1. Click the Start button in the lower left hand corner on your computer. Type the word Run and hit enter.

2. Type \\pharoscampus.cc.nd.edu and click OK.

3. Login the first time to the print server using your NetID@nd.edu and then your Password. Make sure you check Remember my password. Click OK.

4. Click the printer Law205.

5. If your computer needs to install the HP 8150 printer driver, your laptop will prompt you to agree to install the driver. Click Yes.

7. Law205 on pharoscampus.cc.nd.edu will appear in your Printers window. After you print to Law205, you will still need to logon to the Law School’s release stations to complete the print job.

N.B. Whenever you change your University password, you will need to repeat steps 1-4 before the next time you wish to print from your laptop. If you have any questions, please see one of the computer lab assistants or Joshua Baltazar in Room 205-G.
