Computer Lab

computer lab 09 During the renovation, the Law School computing consists of a lab (2146 Eck Hall of Law) containing 8 Windows XP computers, one MAC OS X computer, 3 network printers, and a scanner. Workstations provide access to the latest editions of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), Corel Suite (WordPerfect, etc.), Adobe products (Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Internet Explorer and Firefox. Microsoft Office 2008, Adobe products (Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Safari and Firefox are loaded on the MAC OS X computer.

Each computer provides access to the university’s central file space where students can save personal files. The file space is backed up on a nightly basis. Students can also access the network and file space using their personal computers via WebFile.

The computer lab in Eck Hall of Law is reserved for law students. Other students may use the cluster labs located on campus. There is no charge for using the computing clusters, although the other centers do charge 10 cents per page for printing.

The Law School computer lab is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After 5 PM, law students will need to use their student ID card to access the building. Computer Lab Assistants are available to assist during the following times while classes are in session:

Sun: 6pm – 11pm
Mon-Thurs: 9am – 11pm
Fri: 9am – 6pm
