Collected Courses of the Hague Academy of International Law
The Hague Academy of International Law is a center for high-level education in public and private international law. The Academy calls upon foremost specialists, including academics, practitioners, diplomats, and other leading experts from all over the world, to deliver courses to an international audience in English or French. The courses deal with the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject, including legislation and case law. All courses at the Academy are, in principle, published in the language in which they were delivered.

Constitutions of Countries of the World (Oceana Publications)
Covers the constitutions of 192 nations. Features full text, English translations. Introductory and Comparative Notes examine recent amendments and highlight pertinent historical, legal, political and economic information.

Constitutions of Dependencies and Territories (Oceana Publications)
Constitutions of 144 territories and dependencies coupled with the relevant federal constitutional provisions that define the relationship between the state and dependency or territory. Countries are arranged alphabetically by governing state.

Encyclopedia of Public International Law – Max Planck (Oxford Univ Press)
This is a fully updated online edition of the Encyclopedia of Public International Law published in print between 1991 and 2001 under the general editorship of Rudolf Bernhardt. There are now over 720 articles including many new articles on international organizations and international co-operation as well as coverage of topical issues such as Piracy, Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, and the right to a fair trial. English Reports (Heinonline)
Database of English case reports from 1220-1873 in PDF format—-perfect for cite-checking. Full-text searching is available. Each case report contains parties, court and citation information (for nominative reports and English Reports).

Foreign Law Guide (Foreign Law Guide)
Provides relevant information on sources of foreign law, including complete bibliographic citations to legislation, the existence of English translations whenever possible, indications of the currentness of the legal materials listed, and, finally, selected references to secondary sources in English.

Free Treaties Index (Oceana Publications)
Provides access to over 13,000 treaties and international agreements. Contains all treaties and international agreements ratified by the US, major treaties in the process of ratification, and all tax treaties, even those to which the US is not a party.

Global Legal Information Network
Database of laws, regulations, judicial decisions, and other complementary legal sources contributed by governmental agencies and international organizations. The official full texts are in their original language, but each document is accompanied by a summary in English and subject terms selected from the multilingual index to GLIN.

HeinOnline U.S. Treaties Library
Includes all U.S. treaties, whether currently in-force, expired, or not-yet officially published. Offers the most complete online collection of U.S. treaties and agreements and includes such prominent collections as the United States Treaties and Other International Agreements set (commonly referred to as the “Blue set”), as well as famous sets from Bevans, Miller, Malloy and others.

Inter American Database (Nationa Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade)
Provides access to laws, regulations, treaties and legal opinions from the following countries: Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela.All of the documents are in their original language (Spanish, Portuguese and English). English translations are available for key legal documents, with a considerable number from Mexico.

International Arbitration Treaties (Juris Net) password icon

International Commentary on Evidence (Berkeley Electronic Press)
A peer-reviewed journal on evidence law and theory. Each article addresses evidentiary issues of interest in more than one jurisdiction, and, frequently, in disciplines such as economics, psychology, philosophy and history. Readers can publish responses to articles on I.C.E. with an opportunity for rejoinders from authors. ICE aims to be a resource for those interested in academic commentary on evidentiary issues and a platform for those who wish to engage in an exchange of views on these issues.

International Encyclopaedia for Labour Law and Industrial Relations (Wolters Kluewer)
Designed to provide information to the international business and labour relations communities; to facilitate comparative research in the field; and to contribute to the growing harmonisation of labour law and standards worldwide. Contains 59 detailed country-by-country monographs and eight in-depth international monographs as well as five volumes of case law and five volumes of reprinted legislation.

International Encyclopaedia of Laws Constitutional Law
Presents a country-by-country survey of constitutional law throughout the world, and is in the process of publishing an English translation of each country’s constitution. (So far, 30 constitutions are reproduced in full.)

International Encyclopaedia of Laws Environmental Law
Covers national and international environmental law. National monographs contain a general introduction and an overview of the basic principles of environmental law. They provide historical background, and describe the role of governmental institutions, as well as the sources of environmental law. In addition, international monographs cover international legislation and treaties, and the environmental legislation of the European Economic Community.

International Encyclopaedia of Laws Social Security Law
Provides information on the social security schemes in various countries. The legal mechanisms of the following areas of social protection are covered in each monograph: health care, employment injuries and occupational diseases, sickness benefits, pensions, unemployment and family benefits. An international social security law codex provides the main international texts, in English, that regulate social security. The most relevant cases from the ECJ are also included.

International Encyclopaedia of Laws Intellectual Property
Provides an overview of the legislation and policy on intellectual property in a large number of countries. Information is also provided on all major international conventions and on international bodies like the EU and WIPO/OMPI.
