Kate E. Mueller is the academic advancement program director for Notre Dame Research. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in both Government and Spanish in 2001. That same year, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 2004 she received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where she served as note editor for the Journal of College and University Law and directed the undergraduate debate team. She practiced law in the areas of commercial, employment, probate, governmental, and civil rights litigation for five years before returning to Notre Dame to launch the Center for Social Science Research and direct its operations. She served as the academic advancement program director for the Law School before joining Notre Dame Research.
