L-STAR Program symplicity - Login Now
The Law Student Travel and Accommodations Reimbursement Program (L-STAR) is a national fundraising initiative that works in conjunction with participating law school’s On-Campus Interview (OCI) programs. If a Notre Dame Law student stays with family or friends instead of in a hotel during a callback interview, the interviewing law firms(s) agree to donate $165 to the Notre Dame Public Interest Law Foundation Summer Fellowship Fund. Many firms have also agreed to donate $35 for students who are able to forego transportation to and from the airport in the destination city.
Benefits
L-STAR benefits both firms and students. By participating, the firms enjoy recognition for supporting public interest law opportunities at law schools across the country. Participating law students enjoy the fact that they are making it possible for their classmates to provide legal services to those most in need of the energy, dedication, and talent of Notre Dame Law School students. To find out more about the students’ varied experiences in Summer 2007 check out our publication Law Students Making A Difference Around the World.
