Federal Circuit Judges Sutton and O’Scannlain Speak at NDLS

Professor A.J. Bellia recently moderated a conversation between Ninth Circuit Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain and Sixth Circuit Judge Jeffrey Sutton. The separation of powers and the constitutional role of a federal circuit judge were among the issues discussed.

International Law Society Symposium

Dean Nell Newton provided an Iftar dinner for thirteen NDLS students, spouses, and children. In addition to the St. Thomas More Chapel, NDLS has a meditation room open to all students and especially appreciated by our Muslim students.


Football Friday Open Houses

The Alumni Center hosts Law School Football Friday Open Houses on all home football Fridays. ND alum Regis Philbin, ‘53, singled out the NDLS facilities and the Patrick F. McCartan Courtroom for special praise September 19.
Take a tour of the Law School, talk with our Law School student ambassadors, or purchase Law School memorabilia. Meet us in the Eck Hall Atrium from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Visit gameday.nd.edu for more football weekend information.

Join members of the Order of St. Thomas More at their casual, family-friendly reception.

When: Saturday, October 29, 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: The Eck Commons in the Eck Hall of Law

Watch the band “March Under The Arch” on its way to the stadium. Enjoy game day refreshments and a cash bar for those guests 21 and over. Admission for non-OSTM members is $10.00 per person. Pre-registration and payment required. Sorry, refunds are not available for those not attending.

Reunion 2012

SAVE THE DATE. Reunion 2012 is May 31 - June 3, 2012. Law Classes from 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, and the 50-year club will be celebrating their reunion this summer. Your Reunion Committee representatives will contact you shortly with more information.

Alumni Travel

The University of Notre Dame Alumni Travel Program provides travel opportunities for alumni and the entire Notre Dame family. NDLA

The Notre Dame Law Association Board met at Notre Dame Law School on Friday, October 7, 2011. Board members provided professional advice to students through panel discussions, one-on-one meetings, and networking sessions. All NDLS graduates are members of the NDLA.
