Eligibility: To be awarded a Faegre & Benson scholarship, students must be enrolled in an accredited law school in the United States and interested in a summer associate position in one of our U.S. offices.

Finnegan Henderson Diversity Scholarship
Award: $12,000 per year
Eligibility:

Open to law students from underrepresented minority groups (American Indians/Alaskan Natives, Blacks/African Americans, Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders & Hispanics/Latinos) who have demonstrated a commitment to a career in intellectual property law

Currently enrolled either as a 1st-year full-time student or 2nd-year part-time student

Must have earned a degree in life sciences, engineering, or computer science, or have substantial prior trademark experience

Academic preformance at the undergraduate, graduate (if applicable), and law school level; relevant work experience; community service; leadership skills’ and special accomplishments

Award: $7,500 and paid summer associate position in our Seattle office
Eligibility: The Foster Pepper 1L Diversity Fellowship is open to all individuals of color or another diverse background who:
● Are enrolled and in good standing as a fi rst-year law student (Juris Doctor) at an ABA accredited law school;
● Demonstrate a record of academic achievement that evidences great promise for a successful career during the
remainder of law school and in the legal profession;
● Contribute meaningfully to the diversity of the law school student body, and upon entering the legal profession,
the legal community; and
● Demonstrate a commitment to practice law in Seatt le, Washington following graduation from law school.
