NDLS Community:
The support that I have received from the Notre Dame alumni network in my career search has been invaluable. People affiliated with Notre Dame recognize what a unique and tight knit community is formed at this law school and know to expect great things from NDLS students.
NDLS Faculty:
The faculty at NDLS routinely go out of their way to help students, whether it entails having a few extra discussions on a class topic, offering career advice, or sharing their experiences as legal professionals. Speaking with professors at the law school retreat this January helped immensely in the process of discerning what type of career would fit with my goals.
NDLS Experience:
Even as a 1L, NDLS has provided me with several opportunities to explore different areas of law as they are actually practiced. Since NDLS emphasizes the value of pro bono work, it has been simple for me to find experiences in the areas of law of interest to me that will be of benefit to the people that most need legal assistance.
