On NDLS:
“Having gone to Notre Dame for undergrad, I thought I would like to go somewhere else for law school. I loved my four years here but wanted to experience someplace new. Upon visiting several other schools, however, I realized that the qualities I was searching for in a law school were most present here at NDLS. I greatly enjoy and appreciate the sense of community, the spirit of cooperation rather than competition, and the focus on ethics and morality. When I first heard it, my initial reaction was to dismiss the “educating a different kind of lawyer” line as cliché; now, however, I see it as embodying that which I think makes NDLS such a special place.”
On Faculty:
“The faculty and staff here are incredibly approachable. They are not only available to answer whatever class and school related questions you may have, but they are also willing to talk with you about whatever else is on your mind. I have dropped in to talk to and seek advice from professors I have had in class, as well as ones who I have just heard would be good to talk to about a specific subject or who concentrate on an area of law in which I have a particular interest. The faculty and staff truly seem to take an interest in the students not just as law students but as actual people. I have already found this to be an invaluable part of my Notre Dame Law School experience.”
