Insights Regarding My Area of Practice
- I practice in a smaller city, but yet a very large legal market. I also practice in a small group within a large firm. This gives me the feel of a small firm but the benefits and conveniences of a global practice.
Volunteer/Pro Bono Work

On Classmates and Friendships:
“I could not imagine going through law school with any other group of people than my NDLS classmates. Many law schools have similar academic reputations and opportunities, but what set NDLS apart are the people. Today, my friends from NDLS are scattered across the country, but we still manage to get together every few months. The close relationships and the respect that I see among my classmates are unique among the experiences of my friends who went to other law schools.”
On the General Perception of an NDLS Lawyer:
“Let’s face it – lawyers today do not have a stellar reputation. What NDLS taught me is that you can be both a good lawyer and an ethical lawyer and that, contrary to popular belief, the two are not mutually exclusive. Especially as a young attorney, facing difficult ethical choices can be daunting, but I feel that NDLS prepared me very well to make responsible decisions.”
