Reflections on NDLS:
“I truly believe that life at NDLS is different than it is at other law schools. The legends of students actually offering notes to other students, assisting each other with legal research assignments, and studying together are true. Law school is difficult enough without adding the unnecessary competition among students. Here, we do our best to support each other inside and outside the classroom.”
Most of the faculty members at the law school have an open door policy. They are available to answer questions about class related material, larger legal questions and concerns, or just life in general. I have to admit I did not take full advantage of this my first year and have been amazed since then at how easy it is to swing by a professor’s office and chat.
Students want to help each other succeed"
