On How NDLS Has Influenced Me:

“The entire experience was transforming; my experience at ND enabled me to become a true believer in the actualization of community. ND’s concern for social justice in a global context fed my desire to fit the practice of law into my practice of faith. I continue to be inspired by the experience.”

How NDLS Has Enhanced My Professional Career:

“My job as a judge requires that I be ‘centered’ and in touch with what is correct under the law and what is right or just in certain cases. My experience at ND and my ongoing connection to that mission enables me to stay focused on that larger view of justice. I believe that I could not be where I am today had it not been for my experience at Notre Dame. The legal education I received was solid and the moral framework provided the context for exploring such decision-making. I know of no other place on earth that invites students to be charitable, just, disciplined, and intelligent all at the same time!”
