On How Notre Dame Influenced Me:
“The religious and ethical context in which classes were taught, both at the undergraduate and law school levels, guided me and motivated me in the choices I have made as a lawyer. I was motivated to represent indigent, Hispanic people as a public defender and to contribute my time to community organizations that serve underprivileged children. The work I do in our jails to this day is motivated by my faith instilled by Notre Dame’s commitment to justice, excellence, and compassion.”
