Future Plans
After graduation, I will be joining Drinker Biddle & Reath in their DC office as an associate in one of the transactional practice groups.
On the Alumni Network:
“I never would have thought that as an incoming Notre Dame Law student, I would already have the quality contact with alumni that I have had. The summer before law school, an attorney friend of mine who attended Notre Dame as an undergrad invited me to lunch where he had two recent Notre Dame Law graduates join us and talk with me about everything from classes, to professors, to summer jobs, to life as a Notre Dame attorney. I was so impressed at their willingness to take time during their busy work week to meet with a future Notre Dame Law student.”
On Faculty:
“I think every incoming law student is automatically scared of his law professors. Everyone has heard horror stories of students at other law schools who were made to cry from being embarrassed in class. I cannot fathom that situation happening here at Notre Dame. My professors have been complete class acts, even beyond my expectations. There have been times when students have been less than prepared for class and I was surprised at how pleasant and helpful the professors have been. I have felt equally comfortable speaking up in class as visiting my professors in their offices. They have all been completely dedicated to helping in any way possible.”
